Injectable Foam:

The U.S. Department of Energy estimates that 40 percent of heating and cooling costs are wasted through uncontrolled air leakage within the building envelope. Injectable foam insulation can help. The best insulation for your building project or exsiting home is no longer made of fiberglass or cellulose.  Injectable foam insulations are becoming recognized as the 21st century solution for soaring energy costs and uncertain supply.  The increasing popularity of foam insulation is not surprising.  Foam saves energy! And injectable foam insulation helps make buildings cleaner, quieter, and more comfortable, as well.

Attic Inspections:

This inspection is done free of charge.  We will check your attic to ensure it is properly insulated, including checking all air leakage areas to determine if there is air sealing needed.  We will also check insulation levels and determine if and how much insulation may be needed to bring the R-Value up to recommended levels.  By doing this inspection we will be able to formulate a plan of attack to properly seal and insulate the attic to create a good cover on your home.

Air Sealing:

Air sealing an attic space is very important as you want to create a barrier between your house and attic.  Any areas where wiring, plumbing, venting, attic hatches and interior walls are can create a transfer of air and moisture from the home into the attic.  Air sealing can eliminate that, making the insulation installed on top of that very effective.  Without an air seal, insulation alone will only baffle that air flow and you may still have heat loss and moisture issues.

Blown in Fiberglass:

Blown in fiberglass in an attic space is a clean, effective insulating blanket for your home.  We ensure the proper installation to maximize your insulation R-Value of R-48 minimum.  It is important to place insulation markers throughout the attic prior to installing to ensure consistent levels.  We also ensure the right "depth plus density" of insulation as recommended to achieve proper results.

Spray Foam For Floor Joists:

Spray foam insulation installed between your floor joists in your crawl space is the only material that will create an air seal and effective thermal barrier from obstructions such as wiring and plumbing, ductwork, and narrow or wide joist spacing.
